Office Manager

The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Budapest office operates at an exceptional standard. The role includes overseeing daily office operations, coordinating small projects, and maintaining the overall facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily office walkthroughs to ensure the space is spotless and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Oversee ordering of food, beverages, and office supplies, including vendor coordination (janitorial services, utilities, food suppliers, etc.) and related budgets.
  • Ensure a welcoming reception experience for employees and visitors. Manage all mail and shipping operations.
  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing workstations, giving office tours, providing supplies, and issuing security badges. Help create a positive first impression for new employees.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and visitor requests, feedback, and concerns.
  • Manage the office ticketing system and resolve requests or issues promptly.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and small office projects, including budget oversight.
  • Ensure the office complies with internal security standards, including managing the badging process.
  • Maintain and update internal office-related websites.
  • Manage and coordinate all logistical aspects of onsite events, including meeting rooms, catering, and rentals.
  • Partner with employees to develop regular office gatherings and events.
  • Plan and execute annual employee events, such as the holiday party and summer celebration.


Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of Office or Facilities Management experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication/interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with positive, can-do attitude. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Budget management experience
  • Good command of English and Hungarian Languages
