Responsible for service delivery/service chain/combined services for his/her delivery.
Coordination and Supervision:
Coordinates, manages and monitors the workings of various departments providing the underlying technical components (Storage, Linux/Unix, Virtual service, etc)
Take responsibility to ensure proper execution of Incident, Problem, Change (incl. maintenance) and escalation management within the services.
Drive major changes (upgrades, migrations): planning and coordination
Involve in major Incident escalation, facilitate technical calls/sessions.
Responsibility for the quality of the asset- and configuration management.
Capacity management input and planning.
Monitors, manages and improves the efficiency of provided services. Facilitates coordination and communication between support functions.
Periodic reporting as input to Service review report.
Direct Interaction with Service Delivery Managers/Technical Account Managers on technical and operational matters. Coordinate internal technical among supported Service Lines. Whenever required, participate in direct technical discussion with customers with facilitation from SDM.
Work with as part of day-to-day operational support activities - focal point of SAP AG escalation.
As the key Operational interface both internally and externally between the SDM at the receiving T-Systems customer, the SAP OPM is responsible for maintaining all communication and ensuring that regular meetings are in place for successful management of the relationship.
Graduate (Bachelors) level education with a background in IT Operations.
Technical Skills and experience that we desire include:
8+ years of IT experience mainly in SAP Basis, Unix Operating system and Oracle support
An excellent verbal and written communication skill in the English language, as this role entails creation of technical policies and procedures that will be used widely throughout the organizat
