My client is a leading Software games /arcade producer who due to internal promotions now have a really excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Support professional to join their team.


The Sales Support Executive role will involve a hands-on, proactive approach to driving support activities to ensure the department maximises revenue in the selling of spares, redemption tickets and 'Prize' merchandise by delivering a timely service to existing and potentially new customers and by resolving any sales related issues.

In addition to day-to-day inbound order processing, you will be expected to further develop new client relationships, along with managing the existing portfolio of clients and 3rd party distributors. The role is part account management/part administration and the will involve regular client calls so experience is essential

Account Management

* Maintain relationships with existing clients through regular telephone and occasionally face-to-face contact and where necessary, attending network events and exhibitions

* To create new business opportunities with both existing customers by pitching relevant products and merchandise and by converting inquiries to orders, liaising with customers throughout the process.

* Use a consultative approach to identify suitable products and services to meet customer needs as well as identifying and obtaining replacement parts from descriptions provided by the customer.

* Deliver excellent service and achieve departmental targets by promptly acknowledging and responding to customers via email or phone and by making approximately 20 outbound calls a week to old and existing customers.

* Follow up with customers to make sure they are satisfied with a particular product.

* Contact customers to check stock levels, replenish & inform of upcoming promotions/offers from time to time. Circulate regular offers via email to customers to drive sales

* Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns and make sure the problem is resolved to the customers satisfaction.

* Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations

* Accurately log all calls and sales and keep the CRM system up to date.

* Working with other members of the team to deliver sales objectives and revenue targets

* Participate on behalf of the company at exhibitions

* Working with the Accounts department to ensure payments are received in a timely manner and to assist with month end procedures/supplier queries.

* Update customer records

* Attend manufacturers training and other training courses as appropriate.

* Carry out research activities and be up to date with the latest industry news and regulations.

* Act as a team player by offering support to colleagues when required
