Responsibilities are to support the Fulfilment Centre ensure its associate plans are effectively planned throughout the year to meet operational demand. Although the role will support the business needs for temporary hourly paid support during the Q4 period, they will also be responsible for ensuring the site flexes its permanent associate population in critical roles to support the deliver of great customer experience, especially during peak months.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Working in partnership with operational stakeholders to map the critical role requirements for the year. Once planned, work with operations, HR and L&D colleagues to ensure a structured recruitment, selection and training process is in place to successfully deliver the plan
Support operational planning by managing the roster management process for the site, ensuring that HRBPs, Operational Managers and Finance are aware of their roles within the process
Understand and have involvement in Labour Planning process for the site using the labour capacity planner. Ensure members of the Labor Planning meeting are kept up to date with current labour supply, highlighting any concerns in a timely manner
Work with the agencies to develop robust and tested contingency plans for a number of eventualities including severe weather and short notice volume increases to the site
Ensures compliance with UK and EU legislation
Full ownership and responsibility for ensuring compliance regarding Right to work in the UK legislation[R1]
Monitor and ensure each agency meet agreed service level agreements
Establish and help to maintain agency working relationships across all parties
Be responsible for production of metrics relating to labour
Review and establish causes for unfavourable trends in the metrics, provide and implement root cause analysis and solutions
Share findings and best practice with the UK labour management group
Line manage LM Assistant
Co-ordinate the Day zero induction process between Operations, Finance, Agencies, Security and L&D
Monitor consistency with Employee Relations issues and decisions
Liaise with ICQA and Security on theft and work place violence matters
Clearly articulate and facilitate the release and transfer process for temporary associates
Ensure agencies are compliant with UK and EU directives in relation to Amazon Agency Associates
Ensure effective processes are in place for the sharing relevant personal information with the HR and Health and Safety team on site to allow for adequate risk assessments to be completed
Liaise with H&S regarding any near miss and recordable incidents within the site
Support and coordinate labour transfer to others sites both in UK/EU
Monitor agency manager performance and ensuring contractual obligations regarding ratios are met
Co-ordinate regular meetings between agencies and Amazon to drive best practice across the site, and to address any concerns
Audit agencies bi-monthly on quality of assessment and recruitment processes. Increase audits as appropriate
Ensure a robust auditing program is in place to ensure the agencies are following core transactional processes and appropriately addressing and/or escalating any issues identified
Be liaison between Agencies and Amazon Finance Department regarding payment and processing of invoices
