Network Development Manager (12 Months Fixed Term Contract) - London

The role of the Network Development Manager is to manage and develop a portfolio of network agents with locations in the UK and Ireland. That objectives and composition of that portfolio will be and agreed with the Key Account Director.
Our agents are principally in retail, money business, banking and postal sectors.

The WU Northern Europe Key Account team comprises ten people in sales, account management, support and operations and reports into the Key Account Director who is based in London.

Account Management Responsibilities

Targets: Responsible for meeting/exceeding revenue/transaction/location targets.

Productivity: Responsible for meeting productivity targets, i.e. Reduce dormancy, fast track spin-up, increases overall production.

Relationships: The NDM owns the agent relationships, and must increase and expand the stregth and quality of thsoe links. Strong persuasion/influencing skills; able to build successful business relationship with an agent under difficult or complex circumstances.

Objectives: Will work closely with Regional Agent Management, Marketing and Sales teams to implement tools and programs to deliver on objectives and meet targets.

Key Skills

Sales Skills: Able to work through the rapport based sales system, i.e sells benefits and solutions rather than product features, and effectively manage objections. Must be able to tailor a product offering to a particular agent's need.

Communications Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, as well as emotional intelligence and intercultural sensitivity. Must feel comfortable in a boardroom environment and demonstrates executive presence.

Technical Knowledge: Business /Financial acumen, understanding the business model of WU and its agents, profit margins and commission structure. Good at sales forecasting and data analysis. Must be able to compile a business case utilizing standard business metrics and PowerPoint (or similar) technology.
Flexible mindset able to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-effective solutions.

Organisational Skills: Well-organized and comfortable with handling multiple assignments; able to promptly adjust actions based on changing priorities and achieve results working remotely and in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Skills: Enthusiastic and value-focus approach toward career challenges and opportunities; able to become an effective role model who leads by example, can manage and motivate direct and indirect reports.
