The Risk Assurance team has plans for significant growth as our global clients increasingly demand our support in designing and deploying solutions for measuring and monitoring risk. We already have an established Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology practice that our clients recognise as offering unparalleled advice in this area. Our growing activity pipeline and desire to add more focus on GRC solutions means we are now looking to grow this team.
The preferred candidate needs to have a passion for this area, practical experience of deploying these solutions and creative and innovative ideas as to how our clients can further leverage investment in these technologies and the processes they underpin.
About the role
You will work within the GRC technology team reporting to a Director and co-working with other members of the Practice. The engagements you work on will be predominantly FTSE 100 businesses. This role may extend to overseas clients and is therefore likely to involve some travel. You will also take responsibility for developing some specific components of the GRC technology practice in this growing marketplace. The primary responsibilities include:
• Project managing GRC technology implementation projects;
• Development of the broader team's GRC technology expertise;
• Leading teams and coaching and developing others; and
• Identifying and cultivating sales opportunities with new and existing clients
Our success in this market arises as much from our knowledge of the processes and activities that GRC technology enables as it does from knowledge of the technology itself. Therefore, we continue to seek rounded individuals who wish to provide broader advisory services.
Essential Skills
• Experience in designing, reviewing or performing risk management, compliance or internal audit processes.
• Experience of managing or supporting a change programmes in the areas of risk, compliance or audit (e.g. a technology deployment or new process deployment).
• Experience of interacting with senior project stakeholders.
• Experience in leading teams of specialists and coaching junior members of staff.
Desirable skills
• Experience of implementing one or more of the leading enterprise-GRC technologies (e.g. Archer, BWise, MetricStream, SAP, etc)
• Current technical certifications with one of more of these technologies.
• Experience in developing new sales opportunities.
• A finance and/or audit-related professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CIA)
