Our Financial Services Risk and Regulation team is made up of over 50 partners and 800 professional staff and our numbers and capabilities are expanding every day.

PwC's Insurance and Investment Management Controls Assurance team helps our Insurance and Asset Management clients understand and challenge the efficiency of their systems and processes.
Due to growth, we have vacancies for candidates who are skilled in IT auditing, risk evaluation and project governance.
About the roleThis broad role will see you working on a variety of challenging assignments for a wide range of top brand insurance and asset management companies.
You will work as part of a team that supports engagements for clients, supporting a Manager/Senior Manager with executing the work and liaising with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for overseeing and coaching more junior members of your team.
Here are typical assignments you will work on:
• Provide assurance that controls are in place prior to a client's major systems going live
• Provide assurance that a client's processes are providing reliable reports
• Work on a structured recovery after a client's systems breakdown
• Create a risk management framework that identifies risk facing a client
• Conduct an independent report on controls that can be used by third parties
Responsibilities include:
• Represent information and data candidly, accurately and completely.
• Address questions on technical matters from team members and clients and deliver technical training as appropriate.
• Understand and participate in project planning, administration and economics.
• Maintain a focus on project economics and identify and recommend opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Prepare concise, well written documents using appropriate business and technical language.
• Coach staff by providing constructive feedback in a timely manner in order for them to develop and meet their objectives and improve performance.
• Conduct fact finding and analysis in a thorough, pragmatic, accurate and organised manner to enhance quality of engagement project delivery.
• Degree educated
• Have attained or be demonstrably working towards the ACA and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification, or equivalent
• Experience in auditing IT systems of financial services or professional services firms
• Experience in evaluating technology that supports financial & operational application systems and related business processes
• Project management and analytical skills
• Client relationship-building and management skills
• Strong verbal, presentation and report writing skills
• Flexibility to travel within UK and overseas
• Computer Science or Accounting & Business Administration degree
• Ability and preparedness to work to tight deadlines when necessary
• Experience in supervising and coaching junior colleagues
