Role Mission Statement
Reporting to the Group Quality Director and supporting the Country General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective execution of Quality Assurance activities within Hungary.
You will contribute to driving corrective actions, embedding best practices, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring strong alignment with both customer and regulatory quality expectations.
You will have real impact on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the achievement of country-level quality objectives and corrective action targets
- Assist operations in resolving internal and customer quality issues using PDCA methodology
- Analyse customer satisfaction, complaint trends, and internal corrective actions to identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure timely and professional handling of customer complaints and corrective action processes
- Deliver training to operational teams on quality processes and best practices
- Act as a quality partner and mentor to operations teams to strengthen daily process execution
- Support preparation for certification audits (ISO / IATF)
- Maintain proactive communication with customer quality teams and stakeholders
- Prepare reports and insights for the Group Quality Director
Working Location & Conditions
- You will primarily be based at our key project location, the BMW plant in Debrecen, providing direct on-site quality support
- Depending on business needs, occasional presence at the Head Office may also be required
- The role involves regular travel within Hungary to support operational activities
- You may be required to travel internationally from time to time, sometimes at short notice
- This position requires flexibility and openness to spending time away from home when needed
Requirements
- Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong command of English and Hungarian (business / negotiation level)
- Solid experience in quality management within manufacturing and/or automotive
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Willingness to travel within Hungary and occasionally abroad
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with a structured problem-solving approach
- Results-oriented attitude and ability to drive improvements
- Strong quality mindset and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 standards and core tools
- German language skills
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience in customer-facing quality roles
