Sous Chef

The Sous Chef will be responsible for day-to-day supervision, preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are always maintained to the standards required by the hotel.

Tasks & Involvements:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of kitchen processes
  • Adhering to and working to the required standards
  • Coordinating and supervising staff under his/her control
  • Ensuring a high standard of workmanship at all times, presenting five-star quality food to guests
  • Ensuring that products and ingredients are professionally prepared and quality controlled
  • Preparing purchases and orders
  • Training new staff
  • Contributing to the development of menus for events and programs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Professional qualification
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficient command of English and Hungarian languages
  • Varied and diverse range of cooking skills and methods of cooking
  • Experience in creating food displays/center-pieces
