Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our partner company's international product team, working on business-critical operational systems. The role is broad and hands-on, covering analysis, design, development, testing, DevOps activities, and application support when needed.

Description

You would collaborate with teams based in Budapest and Western Europe in an agile environment focused on code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement. Together, we deliver new features, enhance existing solutions, and modernize the overall technical landscape.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience building, maintaining, and deploying production-grade software
• Expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot
• Experience using REST APIs, SOAP services, and asynchronous messaging
• Familiarity with dependency management, version control, and containerization
• Strong software engineering practices, including testing, code quality, and clean code principles
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
• DevOps mindset and CI/CD experience
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform

Nice to have

• Kafka experience
• 1+ years of Angular and TypeScript experience
