Corinthia Hotel Budapest is looking for a Meetings & Events Trainee to provide administrative and coordination support to the Meetings & Events team. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is interested in event operations and hotel environments and would like to gain hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Meetings & Events team
- Assisting with the preparation and follow-up of conferences and events
- Handling and administrating incoming packages related to events and conferences
- Supporting the update and management of digital displays and event information
- Participating in pre-conference meetings and preparing notes
- Coordinating with internal departments (Front Office, Catering, Technical teams)
- Monitoring ongoing events in the hotel and providing operational support when needed
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to events
The Ideal Candidate:
- Ongoing university studies (hospitality, tourism, business or related fields are an advantage)
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and structured way of working
- Confident user-level knowledge of MS Office
- Willingness to learn and support a dynamic team
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
