Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer

Location: Remote / Hungary, with occasional travel to Budapest (approximately 1–2 times per month)

Job Overview:

We are looking for two experienced Senior OpenShift Platform Engineers to join our team in Hungary. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift platform engineering and administration, Kubernetes architecture, advanced container networking, and cloud-native infrastructure automation.

The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise-grade container platforms, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and operational reliability across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Manage Kubernetes architecture, cluster lifecycle, upgrades, performance optimization, high availability, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and troubleshoot advanced container networking solutions, including CNI, OVN-Kubernetes, Cilium, and Isovalent Enterprise.
• Leverage eBPF-based technologies for network security, traffic visibility, observability, and performance monitoring.
• Perform Linux system administration, kernel-level troubleshooting, networking configuration, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement GitOps-based deployment and configuration management workflows.
• Establish platform security standards, access controls, network policies, and container security best practices.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and ensure service reliability.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve platform stability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform engineering standards.
