Responsibilities:
- Designing and building of o leaner, resilient, cost-efficient and future-oriented supply chain.
- Collaborating in the Sales & Operations planning process as well as KPl based planning and control of the flow of goods between our suppliers, internal plants and distribution centers to avoid bottlenecks.
- Monitoring and optimizing stock levels to minimize costs while ensuring delivery capability and reliability.
- Developing market segment and target group-specific lead times, enabling the organization to ensure these remain stable on long term.
- Checking new products for various SC-relevant criteria, driving “make or buy” decisions and integrating products into existing processes.
- Identifying, developing and implementing digitalization and automation projects to optimize Vitra's supply chain
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or ideally Master's degree in one of the following fields: Supply Chain Management, International Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
- An overview of interdependencies and control options as well as international supply chains and supply processes
- Project management experience in cross-functional teams
- Experience in handling a varied and complex product portfolio in an industrial corporate environment
- Result oriented person with hands-on problem solving skills
- Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously in a mostly remote set up and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
- Analytical and conceptual way of working, assertiveness and very good communication skills with a focus on successful stakeholder management
- SAP and SAP IBP knowledge
- Fluent in English, or German language
