SHADOW TEACHING ASSISTANT

Your Responsibilities:
- Support the individual child’s academic progress and personal development
- Ensure they have safe, structured, and successful days in school
- Facilitate access to our challenging academic curriculum and school life
- Help the child develop self-regulation and organizational skills to strive for excellence
This is a long-term position, reviewed termly by the school and the child’s parents, who act as contractors.
Requirements:
- Degree in social work or special education
- Experience supporting children with additional needs, especially in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Advanced level of English
- Be compassionate, patient, and committed to inclusive education
- Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and parents
- Be proactive in helping the child access all aspects of school life
