Server Engineer

Your new company:
 Would you like to boost your career in an international environment as a Server Engineer? Our partner company uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to our world, and they are looking for a Server Engineer to join their team in Budapest and other colleagues globally.
Your new role:

• Install and configure Windows Server Software (versions 2012 to 2019).
• Oversee and maintain Microsoft and VMware infrastructure.
• Analyse system and infrastructure logs.
• Identify and resolve potential issues and problems at Level 3 support.
• Conduct routine audits of systems and software.
• Design server, storage, and backup systems.
• Manage NetApp storage systems.
• Apply patches and configuration changes during after-hours and scheduled maintenance windows.
• Monitor system performance and health and perform system tuning and optimisations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures for network and system support.
• Utilize PowerShell for various tasks.

What you'll need to succeed:

• 3+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in VMware administration.
• 3+ years of experience in backup and recovery, including files, systems, bare metal, or snapshots.
• 3+ years of experience with servers (Windows, Linux), storage systems (NetApp), and optionally, backup solutions (CommVault).
• Fluent English knowledge,
• Strong hands-on experience,
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving agile environment.
