Senior Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Finance Manager to join our manufacturing partner in Nyíregyháza. This role combines strategic financial leadership with strong business partnering, supporting plant management in driving performance, transparency, and sustainable growth. The position offers broad exposure across finance, operations, and IT, with a key role in decision-making, process improvement, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the plant’s finance and controlling team, ensuring IFRS-compliant reporting, monthly performance reviews, and strong alignment with HQ. 
• Own budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses, providing clear insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability. 
• Act as a strategic business partner to plant management, supporting new projects, investments, and margin improvement initiatives. 
• Drive cost optimization through robust cost models, lifecycle costing, and streamlined financial processes. 
• Support major capital investment decisions with solid financial and economic evaluations. 
• Oversee plant IT operations, including SAP ERP implementation and optimization (FI/CO integration), system interoperability (EDI, MES), infrastructure, and end‑user IT support.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in FP&A, cost controlling, or related finance roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment. 
• Fluency in English is required. 
• Strong knowledge of Hungarian accounting standards, IFRS, and local tax regulations. 
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, business analysis, operational costing, and internal controls. 
• Advanced user of SAP and financial reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
