Mechanical Engineer

Our partner is one of the two largest glassware manufacturers in the world and one of the five largest glass packaging and flat glass manufacturers. Now you can join their latest green field project!
We are now looking for Engineers to join the Production team in Kaposvár.
About your tasks:

• Analyse and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs and ensure quality.
• Supervise the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operation.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that products meet defined standards and specifications.
• Coordinate production schedules, manage resources and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Ensure that all production activities comply with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
• Coordinating the assignment of technicians and blue collar workers, supervising their work.

Qualifications:

• Graduated ideally from
  Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Good English knowledge.
• Glass production or similar production environment experience is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications, preferably able to use AutoCAD.
• Preferably knowledgeable and experienced in Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing Methodology, and able to use Minitab.
• High skills in organization, planning, reporting, analysis, and especially follow-up.
• Able to manage work-time effectively in a high-paced work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, responsible, and team-oriented.
