We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Supply chain team; which is located in Kaposvár, Hungary.
- 1-5 years of experience from the same position
- at least bachelor degree ideally from Logistics/Supply chain or related
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- confident English language skills
- excellent problem solving skills
- proactivity and a general can-do attitude
Job description:
- Manage Şişecam’s logistics network by reviewing routes, logistics service providers, and transportation methods, proposing alternatives.
- Analyze international delivery terms, collaborate with Customs/Finance, and update systems with approved terms.
- Review freight units, transportation requests, and customer/supplier plans; inform relevant departments accordingly.
- Ensure LSP shipments meet service requirements, secure approvals, and resolve issues with stakeholders.
- Use optimization tools to select cost-effective transportation plans and manage outsourcing to new LSPs.
- Finalize transportation plans, coordinate ramp reservations, and monitor shipment schedules.
- Prepare and track shipment documents, orders, invoices, and customs records in SAP.
- Handle insurance processes for damaged or imported goods, and manage approvals for freight costs.
- Provide input for LSP performance evaluations, logistics reports, and corrective actions with the Logistics Chief.
- Support onboarding, training, and logistics projects while ensuring compliance with KPIs and operational targets.
