Your new role
As a Program Manager / Product Portfolio Manager, you will oversee the lifecycle of assigned products and manage international customer portfolios. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer products throughout their full lifecycle
- Monthly sales and volume planning at product level
- Identifying actions for budget deviations (volumes, excess materials, cost variances)
- Handling and coordinating order changes and ensuring proper implementation
- Daily communication with customers during serial production
- Aligning customer demand with production teams
- Maintaining product profitability and portfolio performance
- Preparing monthly reports for product and customer performance
- Keeping customer data and documentation accurate and up‑to‑date
- Leading annual contract reviews
- Reporting regularly to local and regional management
- Participating in escalation activities related to logistics or supply issues
The role operates in a hybrid model with regular on‑site presence required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field
- Several years of experience in program / product management or a similar customer‑facing function
- Strong background in manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Experience in cost calculation, budgeting and financial deviation analysis
- Confident user of MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Fluent English (daily communication with international stakeholders)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High stress tolerance, proactive mindset and ability to work independently
- Strong customer focus and team‑oriented attitude
