Chief Accountant
We are hiring a Chief Accountant for our partner company in the manufacturing industry in Fejér county, close to Székesfehérvár.
What is the position about:
- Preparation of monthly profit and loss reports, various other reports, and comparative analytics for submission to the parent company and management.
- Preparation and analysis of management reports and financial information on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Preparing and verifying the monthly contribution and VAT report for submission to the tax office.
- Daily booking of incoming invoices.
- Financial analysis of balance sheet accounts and review of related business processes.
- Balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Fixed asset and inventory accounting tasks, maintaining the fixed asset ledger, and calculating monthly depreciation.
- Liaising with auditors, managing yearly closing, and preparing annual reports, including the corporate tax report.
- Calculating monthly material/product costs and communicating them to the commercial department.
- Maintaining communication with the bank and preparing and sending quarterly reports.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- University degree in finance or accounting
- Experience as a Chief Accountant
- Chartered Accounting Certificate
- Strong Intermediate English language skills, oral and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
