Our partner, a multinational airline holding company, is currently looking for a C++ Developer to support their BSC in Budapest.

• Core C++ Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance C++ components for the Sched2com (Schedule to commercial) rebooking optimizer system, which finds optimal flight alternatives for passengers during schedule changes.

• Model Productionization: Translate and industrialize Data Science and Operations Research models into production-ready code, directly supporting data scientists in bringing their algorithms to scale.

• API & Database Management: Build robust REST APIs following industry best practices and manage database operations using SQL.

• Quality & Deployment Automation: Implement automated testing strategies and work within modern CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery.

• Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with the local C++ senior developers in Budapest and integrate seamlessly with the broader Scrum team based in the Netherlands.

Elvárások / Requirements

• Experience Level: 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in C++.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Core Technical Stack:

  • Proficient in C++ development.

  • Solid hands-on experience with databases and SQL.

  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.

  • Practical knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience with Python and its surrounding ecosystem.

• Affinity for or experience with Operations Research (OR) and/or Machine Learning (ML) concepts.
