Job Title: HR Advisor
Salary: Circa £27,248- £29,973
Location: Colworth


We are currently recruiting a HR Advisor within our Human Resources team.
The overall purpose of this role is to enable and support the smooth ongoing running of HR business partnering within the UK business, working with employees, line managers and our outsourced partners and internal services organisation. In this context, the role is primarily focused on supporting our HR Business Partners.

Key point of contact for line managers for issue resolution
Work closely with Service Delivery ensuring effective service and escalating service issues
Work closely with Accenture (Peoplelink) to ensure fast accurate resolution of queries, following up on issues arising
Assist with recruitment tasks as needed, working with outsourced or insourced recruitment teams
Coach, counsel, and guide managers with regards to HR policy queries
Providing guidance and support to LMs and HRBP communities in geography on performance improvement, grievance, redundancy processes etc in line with local governance and legislation. This includes case management of these examples through to conclusion.
Track HR policy query trends and provide appropriate training to upskill line managers and employees
Provide support and structure to HR agenda and calendar of HR activities in relation to geography specific outputs and processes
Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
Manage specific projects as determined in the HR planning process and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives where appropriate, supporting geography HRBPs
Support where appropriate, HR administrative processes such as reward cycle, FRCs, HR planning, Personal Development Plans (PDP), organisation changes e.g. global transfers, redundancies
Ad hoc Reporting: supplying various reports to HRDs - employee lists, gender statistics, salary data
Supporting HRBPs advising on pay and other remuneration issues and liaising with reward ET for approvals

Support key HR processes ensuring that they deliver the business needs
Specific projects, including continuous improvement activities on HR operations and transactions
Smooth running of HR administration, ensuring company and leglislative compliance
Tracking policy queries and upskilling line manager capability


Capacity to understand people issues impacting the business and how the business can create value
Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honours personal commitments
Ability to provide both verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively, as well as ability to influence others
Strong organisation skills are important, as well as attention to detail, an ability to multi task and see work through to full implementation
Experience in project management
Ability to build key relationships and reach agreements and consensus despite differing goals and priorities
Capacity to understand problems and issues in the context of the bigger picture and understand relationships among subcomponents
Ability to use research methods effectively, including data collection, diagnostic, and analytical skills
Experience of working within an outsourced HR environment and track record of delivery in HR operations and administration
General knowledge of employment laws and practices
Experience in HR data systems and processes. Full working knowledge of Peoplesoft is preferable
