PwC's Forensic Services group consists of around 600 people in the UK, based in London, Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester. The group's services are wide ranging and include dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration, etc), fraud and other financial investigations, non-financial investigations, construction claims, contract reviews and licensing management. Our group includes accountants, former regulators, civil engineers and IT specialists and we are part of a global network of over 1700 Forensic Services professionals within the global PwC network.
The Forensics Services Disputes business in London has ambitious plans for growth over the next 3-5 years and as a result, has an opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Senior Manager to join the team. You will have responsibility for building on our existing client base and developing new business with a particular focus on transaction and shareholder matters - in particular, advising on completion accounts, leakage reviews, earn outs and the disputes arising from transactions such as expert determinations, breach of warranty claims, joint venture disputes, etc.
Internal Secondments will be considered for this opportunity. Whilst the specific requirements are for experienced senior managers, more senior candidates with the right experience would also be considered.
About the role
Reporting to the leader of our Transaction & Shareholder disputes business the role will be to help develop and grow the practice.
It will involve identifying and converting opportunities coming through internal channels (in particular our Transaction Services, Assurance, and Corporate Finance teams), and externally from target clients.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Developing existing and new client relationships.
Leading engagements.
The day to day management of teams, including staff development and coaching.
Advising clients on completion accounts, earn outs and leakage review matters
Producing succinct and compelling reports.
Working with other members of the Transaction & Shareholder disputes team to deliver our strategy to grow the practice
Liaising and working with other PwC teams within the UK firm and the wider PwC network of member firms.

Suitable applicants will be/have:
• ACA qualified with experience working in a professional services firm / environment
• An articulate and confident communicator, both orally and in writing.
• Significant experience in transactions and a network of contacts with corporate clients and PE houses.
• A demonstrable record of successfully leading multiple teams in engagements related to disputes or transactions, of delivering excellent work product, building strong and effective client relationships.
• A strong network of relationships, with a track record of generating revenues or of expanding existing engagements.
• Driven, with an ability to generate and effectively communicate vision and strategy, motivating and inspiring others, in order to achieve agreed goals.
Focused and effective on personal development and the development of others.
