Performance Analyst

Our Global asset manager partner, who is establishing its new business service center in Budapest is hiring a Performance Analyst. Their purpose is to help clients define and achieve superior financial outcomes through differentiated insights, disciplined investment approaches, and exceptional service. 

Your new role 

In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy, quality, and insightfulness of their investment performance reporting while collaborating closely with key stakeholders across the business.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver daily and monthly performance reports, including NAV‑based returns, risk metrics, and time‑weighted calculations.
• Support composite performance reporting and maintain accurate composite structures.
• Conduct peer group analysis with tools such as Morningstar Direct.
• Prepare and distribute market data reports using platforms like FactSet, Bloomberg, or Aladdin.
• Ensure compliance with performance standards, including GIPS.
• Contribute to the enhancement, automation, and continuous improvement of performance processes.
• Assist with RFPs, client questions, and internal data requests.
• Partner with Investment, Distribution, Client Services, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Work with external data and software providers to resolve issues and maintain accuracy.
• Support performance‑related projects, system improvements, and operational change initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Previous experience in investment performance analysis or another data‑driven role is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with performance and attribution tools such as FactSet, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, or Aladdin is preferred.
• Solid Excel skills, with confidence in data manipulation and advanced formulas.
• Fluent English language skills.
