Intermediate QA Automation Engineer

From their Hungarian headquarters, they provide high‑level IT and engineering services to numerous European partners.Your New Position

• Defining and executing end‑to‑end test strategies across the Customer Data platform and its APIs
• Ensuring API, event, and data integrity through functional, automation, and performance testing
• Developing API automation frameworks and maintaining automated test suites
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable and frequent releases
• Performing validation of Kafka events and backend data flows
• Executing SQL validations and supporting production‑like testing scenarios
• Collaborating with developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to enhance overall product quality

What You Need to Succeed

• 4+ years of overall QA experience, including 3+ years in API automation testing
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, messaging technologies (Kafka), and modern security protocols (OIDC, OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML)
• Hands‑on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Bruno) and JMeter for performance testing
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language for test automation
• Experience working with Git, Jira, Confluence, and CI integration pipelines
• SQL knowledge and event‑driven validation experience
• Nice to have: Contract testing experience and Telecom domain knowledge
