Our partner is a fast-growing, Asia-based multinational company that is establishing its manufacturing site in Hungary as part of a brownfield investment. The newly built facility will operate in a state-of-the-art production environment, focusing on coating technology for the battery industry.

Take ownership of the full financial setup of our Hungarian operations — from accounting and taxation to internal controls and the rollout of our ERP system (SAP)
Deliver high-quality financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to both HQ and local regulatory bodies
Drive financial performance through effective cost control, proactive cash flow management, and strategic tax planning
Build and scale a top-tier local finance team, growing it to 5–6 professionals within two years
Act as the primary liaison with local tax authorities, external auditors, and financial partners
Play a key role in high-impact projects, including investments, financing, and other strategic business initiatives

Elvárások / Requirements

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling; ACCA or Certified Tax Advisor is an advantage
Minimum 5 years of relevant finance leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment (preferably in new energy or battery industry)
Proven experience in building financial operations from the ground up
Strong knowledge of Hungarian and EU accounting and tax regulations
Excellent analytical and leadership skills
Fluent in both English and Hungarian
