Accountant (Spanish speaking)

You will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation, review and filing of local statutory financial statements under European local GAAPs for multiple legal entities, ensuring alignment and reconciliation to US GAAP group reporting. The role is a key liaison between group consolidation, tax, legal, local advisors and external auditors.

• Participate directly in accounting operations and month-end close activities conducted under US GAAP

• Deliver operational accounting support as part of a collaborative finance team

• Prepare and distribute regular daily and monthly reports while supporting the General Accounting team as needed

• Manage month-end close tasks, including detailed general ledger reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and SOX control documentation

• Maintain ongoing communication with vendors and customers in relation to fixed asset–related accounting matters

• Support the identification and resolution of issues that could impact the quality or timeliness of month-end closings

Elvárások

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable field

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)

• 8-10 years of experience in Accounting

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Spanish

• Extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting within a multinational corporate environment

• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP alongside at least one European local GAAP
