Supply Planner
Our multinational partner, a leading shared service organisation in the telecommunications sector, is expanding its digital Supply Chain capabilities and now welcoming a new Supply Planner to their Budapest team.
In this role, you will support end‑to‑end supply planning activities within a newly enhanced digital planning environment built on SAP IBP, ensuring full alignment between supply plans and business strategy. You will play a key role in optimizing processes, anticipating risks, managing inventory levels, and driving smooth operational execution across the supply chain.
As a Supply Planner, you will:
- Create and maintain predefined supply plans, ensuring alignment between supply, demand and business priorities.
- Contribute to process improvements, proposing and implementing enhancements in supply planning workflows.
- Analyse inventory levels, identify risks and support the definition of inventory targets.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, share monthly forecasts, identify constraints, and support supplier performance reviews.
- Manage exceptions, detect deviations in demand/supply, prepare scenarios, and follow predefined resolution protocols.
- Support cross‑functional alignment by providing input into Supply Review Meetings and working closely with Deployment, Engineering, Finance and Planning teams.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in service-based Supply Chain ideally within a multinational environment
- Experience with transformation/change management/process improvement/project management
- Excellent English communication skills
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with strong ownership, independence, strategic thinking, a startup mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to change.
