Senior Accountant

Your new company 

We are seeking a precise and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our partner hotel’s Finance team and support the financial operations of a dynamic hospitality environment.

Your new role 

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounting activities, daily reporting, and ensuring accurate financial records in compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of daily financial reports
• Maintenance of vendor master data
• Posting and control of purchase, cost, and capital expenditure invoices
• Export/import control between accounting systems
• General ledger posting and reconciliation of cash, bank, and credit card transactions
• Cost allocation and posting of representation and complimentary expenses
• Monthly review of fixed assets and depreciation
• Posting of monthly cash revaluations
• Preparation of tax returns, VAT reclaims, and statutory filings
• Preparation of KSH and MNB reports
• Payroll-related postings and reconciliation based on payroll inputs
• Other accounting tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager

What you'll need to succeed 

• Certified Accountant qualification
• Working proficiency in English
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
