Senior Accountant

Our partner is a global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company specialised in the full-scale execution of complex industrial projects. 

Your new role 

As an accountant, you will support the work of the finance manager by working closely with the other accountants. 

Your tasks include:

• Participation in financial closing and preparation of annual financial statements
• Communication with external auditors and responding to enquiries
• Taxation: VAT, personal income tax (PIT), corporate tax (CIT) advance calculation, reporting, and posting in SAP
• Annual corporate tax (CIT): calculation, reporting, posting
• Other taxes: local business tax (HIPA), innovation contribution, CBAM, EPR, environmental tax, etc.
• Contact person in case of tax audits
• Payroll data entry and posting in SAP
• Supporting company sites with tax-related questions
• Managing bank transfers

What you'll need to succeed 

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
• Experience using SAP is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Accounting experience in the construction industry 
• IFRS accounting
