Your new role 

  • Supports the results and transformation of the agile process in the agile software development team for a development team mainly located in Budapest
  • Supports and facilitates the refinement process of the Product Backlog and helps the Scrum Team understand the Product Vision/Goal.
  • Facilitates the sprint events with focus on team commitment to the sprint goal
  • Coaches the team to deliver the committed results and ensures transparency in the team, including metrics and performance monitoring
  • Facilitates the daily stand-ups and direct follow-ups to support the team in achieving its sprint goals
  • Supports cross-team communications and enables transparency and follow-up on cross-team dependencies
  • Removes impediments on a daily basis in a virtual team
  • Ensures that the completed user stories meet the definition of done
  • Performs the team retrospective and aims for continuous improvement in the team
  • Leads, encourages, and coaches the team as a servant leader; supports the team in transforming to agile software development based on Scrum.
  • Supports Product Owner and Business Analysts methodically and demonstrates effective practices and techniques for defining sprint goals and preparing/maintaining the product backlog.
  • Executes people management: monitors personal performance, provides feedback, and conducts evaluation meetings

What you'll need to succeed 

  • You have a university degree, preferably in a technical area.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years as a Scrum Master.
  • You have the ability to understand business processes.
  • You possess the following strengths: excellent communication skills, personal initiative, a high level of quality awareness, accuracy, and team spirit.
  • You would like to use your excellent English skills.
