Quality Manager

Our Client is a prestigious international group dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of metal automotive components.

We are looking for a leading colleague at the factory in Fejér county (500 employees)  for the following position:

 

Quality Manager

Location: Fejér county / Mór

MAIN TASKS :

-        Must ensure that the Group’s policies and general targets are deployed, applied and respected

-        Must manage, ensure and optimise the functioning (organisation, budget, skills) of the quality functions (development, suppliers, production) applicable to his/her department within the framework of the internal rules and in conformity with the quality manual

-        Is the customer representative and is main correspondent in terms of quality

-        Must take part in the collection of customer satisfaction data

-        Must develop the quality culture: Deployment of quality through promotion and pertinent use of the tools (quality plans, audits, design of experiment, SPC, problem solving, etc.) and appropriate methods that lead to the control of the QMS processes

-        Must organise with his/her team the deployment of the document system and management of continuous improvement of every process, by giving his/her support (deployment and improvement management) to the operational leaders or actors of the processes applicable to his/her scope

-         Must ensure that the quality system is being applied and must participate to its improvement

-        Must apply all the Quality, Environmental and Safety procedures and operating instructions within the framework of operations linked to his/her job and the rules defined by the Group

-        Must take part in system audits (external and internal) and lead the resulting action plans

-        Must contribute towards the continuous improvement of the plant performance via the review of the progress and efficiency of improvement plans

-        Must take part in the management review (including preparation) and write its minutes

-        Must manage the quality reporting (putting results together, excesses, anomalies, risks and associated action plans) and distributes it in conformity with the rules defined (addressees, planning, template)

-        Has the duty to inform his/her managers and the Group Quality Direction in case of either known or potential serious problems with a customer that can have financial or image impacts (e.g. Line stop, cars recall risk, non respect of the system)

-        Ensuring that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of this International Standard

-        Top management shall ensure that the responsibilities and authorities for relevant roles are assigned, communicated and understood within the organization

-        Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement  in particular to top management

-        Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs

-        Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization

-        Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented

-        Ensuring that personnel with authority and responsibility for corrective action are promptly informed of products or processes that do not conform to requirements to ensure that nonconforming product is not shipped to the customer and that all potential nonconforming product is identified and contained

-        Ensuring product safety requirement and risk prevention

-        Ensuring correct APQP process and take part of the new project implementation tasks

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

For this role we require an experienced individual with the following attributes:

-        At least 3 years' experience in the automotive industry

-        Understanding of Automotive quality management systems: TS/ IATF 16949 auditor is a must, VDA, APQP, etc. are desirable, and with ability to understand and demonstrate the differences and implications

-        Working knowledge of Customer development requirements and internal quality systems

-        Ability to integrate new standards into our working procedures,

-        Quality audit experience essential.

-        English language is  a must

-         Good communication / negotiation and problem solving skills

-        Able to influence and advise at all levels of the business

-        Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word and Excel. MS Project.
