Production Customer Scheduler
Our partner, a leading supplier in the automotive industry, is looking for a motivated Production Customer Scheduler to join our Operations team. What You'll Do
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer order fulfillment, including production planning and scheduling, while coordinating with Supply Chain, Program Management, and Production teams. Your goal? Ensure seamless, on-time delivery of high-quality products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily and weekly production plans for your assigned customers, based on equipment and staffing availability.
- Enter incoming orders and forecasts via EDI or manually, in line with agreed delivery terms.
- Monitor on-time delivery performance and escalate risks as necessary.
- Communicate proactively with Program Managers regarding customer issues or production challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions.
- Provide relevant data and insights to support swift, effective decision-making.
- Align customer-specific requirements with overall production schedules and forecasts.
- Review prior day’s production output and update the current schedule accordingly.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or carpet manufacturing is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems (especially Plex).
- Experience working with Customer Portals and EDI preferred.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both Hungarian and English (written and spoken).
