Principal Process Engineer (for Injection Molding)

YOUR ROLE 

As a Principal Process Engineer for Injection Moulding, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and standardizing injection moulding production technology. You will lead cross-functional, international teams and drive cutting-edge innovations that ensure a future-proof production technology portfolio 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Global Development & Standardization: 
• Enhance and unify Injection Moulding processes across all sites. 
• Technical Expertise: 
• Conduct experiments, investigations, and process evaluations to drive efficiency and quality improvements. 

Technology Innovation: 

• Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating new materials, methods, and machinery in collaboration with R&D, Production, and Engineering teams. 

Project Leadership: 

• Manage and coordinate international, interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring successful execution. 

Knowledge Management: 

• Lead and design global knowledge exchange within the Injection Moulding community.

YOUR PROFILE 

• Graduation in engineering (e.g. mechanical, materials, process), plastic or production technology, science (physics, chemistry) or similar technical education. 
• 5-10+ years in Plastic Injection Moulding process engineering. 
• Expertise in Mould Design, Mould Materials, and related Process Development. 
• Experience in technology benchmarking, DoE, and process standardization. 
• Proven ability to manage international projects across multiple locations 

KEY SKILLS 

• Fluent English (written & spoken) is required. 
• German language skills are an advantage. 
• Deep expertise in Injection Moulding technology and its industrial applications. 
• Strong knowledge of design, manufacturing processes, failure types, and countermeasures. 
• Passion for technological innovation and continuous improvement
