YOUR ROLE
As a Principal Process Engineer for Injection Moulding, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and standardizing injection moulding production technology. You will lead cross-functional, international teams and drive cutting-edge innovations that ensure a future-proof production technology portfolio
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Global Development & Standardization:
- Enhance and unify Injection Moulding processes across all sites.
- Technical Expertise:
- Conduct experiments, investigations, and process evaluations to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
Technology Innovation:
- Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating new materials, methods, and machinery in collaboration with R&D, Production, and Engineering teams.
Project Leadership:
- Manage and coordinate international, interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring successful execution.
Knowledge Management:
- Lead and design global knowledge exchange within the Injection Moulding community.
YOUR PROFILE
- Graduation in engineering (e.g. mechanical, materials, process), plastic or production technology, science (physics, chemistry) or similar technical education.
- 5-10+ years in Plastic Injection Moulding process engineering.
- Expertise in Mould Design, Mould Materials, and related Process Development.
- Experience in technology benchmarking, DoE, and process standardization.
- Proven ability to manage international projects across multiple locations
KEY SKILLS
- Fluent English (written & spoken) is required.
- German language skills are an advantage.
- Deep expertise in Injection Moulding technology and its industrial applications.
- Strong knowledge of design, manufacturing processes, failure types, and countermeasures.
- Passion for technological innovation and continuous improvement
