Payroll Specialist

A Payroll Specialist position is open at our multinational client, supporting the global Group from Budapest.

Your new role

  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
  • Manage employee data for tax and benefits purposes
  • Act as the main contact for the outsourced payroll provider
  • Oversee service level agreements and system interfaces
  • Ensure timely delivery of net pay and third-party payments
  • Liaise with government agencies on payroll-related matters
  • Perform quarterly account reconciliations and year-end closing activities
  • Support payroll forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Prepare monthly payroll and statistical reports


What you'll need to succeed

  • 1–3+ years of experience in payroll processing
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes
  • Degree in Management, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • Fluent English; knowledge of any other European language is a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and initiative
  • Strong communication skills
