HR Generalist

Our partner is an electronic component manufacturing company that holds a leading position globally in the field of magnetic technology. We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support the Hungarian organization, manage HR processes for the team, and ensure end-to-end HR operations in an international environment.

Tasks:

  • Managing the full-cycle recruitment and selection process, 
  • Managing employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, HR administration, and offboarding
  • Providing daily HR support to employees and managers, handling employee cases and HR-related requests
  • Coordinating with external payroll providers, preparing and checking monthly payroll data
  • Managing employment contracts, contract amendments, HR documentation, and employee database updates
  • Managing time & attendance processes, holiday tracking, and sick leave administration
  • Administering annual cafeteria processes and supporting salary review activities
  • Coordinating employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs
  • Supporting training administration, including Health & Safety and First Aid trainings
  • Ensuring GDPR-compliant HR processes and confidential handling of employee data
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports
  • Using HR software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) for daily HR operations and reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian labour law and HR regulations
  • Working proficiency in English
  • Experience in recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, and payroll coordination
  • Confident user of HR systems and MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word)
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and people-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel quarterly
