The Role: Group Accountant

This isn't a role for checklist-followers; we value agile thinkers who bring original ideas to the table and take personal ownership of the outcome. 

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll be the technical expert of the finance function, ensuring our group reporting is robust and compliant while helping navigate our M&A activity.
  • Support the preparation of group statutory accounts under IFRS and assist in managing the group audit.
  • Act as the go-to person for technical accounting, ensuring compliance with IFRS 3 (acquisitions), 16 (leases), 15 (revenue), 2 (share-based payments), and 9 (financial instruments).
  • Prepare and file UK subsidiary statutory accounts.
  • Project manage the preparation and filing of accounts for international entities, coordinating with third-party providers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, including M&A integration, financial modelling, and answering investor queries.
  • Continuously drive control and process improvements across the group.
