Government Relations Expert

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead government relations and external affairs for an Asian-owned company, ensuring strong alignment between the company’s strategic objectives and the Hungarian regulatory and stakeholder environment.

Feladatok

• Build and maintain effective relationships with national and local government bodies, authorities, and regulators

• Act as the company’s representative in official discussions, industry forums, and stakeholder consultations

• Track and interpret regulatory and political developments, providing strategic insights to senior leadership

• Shape and implement external affairs strategies in line with business objectives and corporate values

• Facilitate permitting, licensing, and other administrative procedures

• Develop executive briefings, stakeholder updates, and decision-support materials

Elvárások

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Communications, International Relations, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or external communications or experience as a company manager or representative

• Deep understanding of Hungarian regulatory, and cultural landscape

• Experience working with multinational companies or foreign direct investments (FDI) preferred

• Fluent in Hungarian and English both oral and written

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills

• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with diplomacy and strategic foresight
