German-Speaking Clinical Site Activation Manager

Our global healthcare partner, a leading organisation in data-driven clinical development solutions, is looking to expand its international team with a German‑Speaking Clinical Site Activation Manager. 
The company supports biopharmaceutical clients worldwide with innovative approaches that accelerate clinical research while ensuring high quality and full regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will:

• Support all site start-up activities in Germany, including local regulatory and operational steps required to open clinical sites.
• Lead and manage contract and budget negotiations with clinical sites, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the agreement process.
• Oversee site identification, evaluating potential sites and coordinating with local stakeholders to confirm feasibility and suitability.
• Adapt and finalise the Informed Consent Form (ICF) in alignment with national regulations and study‑specific guidelines.
• Prepare and submit documentation to ethics committees, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on‑time delivery.
• Maintain the investigator site file, ensuring all essential documents are ready ahead of site activation.
• Collaborate closely with the project team on a large‑scale study in Germany, contributing to efficient and timely study initiation.
• Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams, clearly reporting progress, risks, and outstanding actions.

What you need to succeed:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Study Start‑Up, Site Management, or similar roles, including contract negotiation with clinical sites.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across various studies.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills.
• Understanding of electronic data capture systems and basic data processing functions.
• Familiarity with ICH‑GCP guidelines and applicable regulations governing clinical research.
