Work remotely for an American automotive company that’s expanding across Europe and building a satellite engineering team from the ground up. Lead engineering activities related to the development of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic brake control valves used in Medium and Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicles EBS (Electronic Braking Systems). This will include ABS modulator Valves, EBS modulator valves, Foot Brake Valve, Parking Brake Valve, Trailer Control Valve.
Lead design activities directing work of designers and less experienced engineers.
Lead DFMEA and DVP&R activity.
Support systems engineering group in creation of air/mass-flow analysis.
Work closely with SW Controls and Systems engineering teams to ensure products are designed to meet required specifications.
Mentor less experienced engineers.

Elvárások / Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering, or any related engineering field. Master’s Degree in Engineering is highly desired.
Working experience with Pneumatic Braking Systems used in Medium and Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicles - közuti (abs, ebs)
Experience designing pneumatic and/or electro-pneumatic valves for Braking Controls, including ABS and EBS modulators, and foot pedal valve.
Good understanding of braking system performance and its influence in vehicle dynamics behavior.
Experience with braking systems vehicle testing activities on test tracks/proving grounds (ABS, ASR, ESC, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with vehicle network topology (CAN, LIN, ethernet, etc.) and E&E architecture is a plus.
