Business Systems Architect Principal

• Own the architecture of business and service systems
  
  • Define and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise business systems (sales, service, core platforms)
  • Lead architecture across service operations domains, such as:
  • Service Desk and Service Operations
  • Lead-to-Cash (pricing, quoting, billing)
  • Inventory and resource management
  • Design target-state architectures while optimizing and modernizing legacy systems
• Drive modernization and automation
  
  • Champion API-first and event-driven architecture patterns
  • Support automation and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
  • Improve scalability, availability, and operational resilience of critical systems
  • Balance transformation with business continuity
• Provide architectural leadership and governance
  
  • Define architectural principles, standards, and design patterns
  • Lead design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
  • Make and defend architectural decisions in complex, high-impact environments
  • Guide legacy-to-modern transformation initiatives
• Collaborate across the organization
  
  • Work closely with engineering teams, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Translate technical architecture into clear business value
  • Partner with vendors and platform providers on architectural decisions

• Experience
  
  • Extensive experience in enterprise or large-scale system architecture
  • Background in complex, multi-system environments
  • Experience in telecommunications, BSS/OSS, or similarly large-scale domains is a strong plus
