We are looking for a logistics manager colleague for our German-based partner specializing in exhaust technology for its new location in Nyíregyháza.

Logistical preparation of all product manufacturing
Oversee the correct transactions relating to material movements
Oversee shipment schedules to ensure requirements and objectives are met
Implement metrics to assess logistics performance of suppliers and own team
Ensure that business processes, procedures and records management are consistent and efficient
Enforce utilization of standardized procedures to increase efficiency through work instructions, records and training
Oversee recycling and environmental, and hazmat permits
Manage international shipments, including customs paperwork and duties
Ensures 100% on-time deliveries to customers
Provide technical training to logistics department personnel to evaluate the performance and initiate improvement plans
Schedule and oversee the upkeep of logistic equipment
Train and certify forklift operators to OSHA standards
Identify, support, and help implement programs designed to improve the effectiveness of the entire organization
Responsible for effective use of automated warehouse systems
Cooperate on the introduction of new products and technical changes with all managers

Elvárások / Requirements

Completed university studies (e.g. industrial engineering) with a focus on logistics
Several years of professional experience in the field of logistics, preferably in a production-oriented company
Professional experience in material and goods flow, preferably in the automotive sector
Analytical thinking skills and independent, structured way of working
High level of teamwork, commitment and quality awareness
Versed in using common PC applications
Business fluent English skills
