Tasks / Feladatok

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and inspire a growing team of 16 (and expanding) software developers.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.

Project Oversight:

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of custom business applications, from design to deployment.
  • Collaborate with functional areas to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Technology Expertise:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology, particularly in cloud computing, React, Java, NodeTS, microservices, and Cloud Foundry.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure the adoption of best practices in software development.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders in functional areas and production plants.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating effective communication.

Quality Assurance and Maintenance:

  • Implement robust testing processes to ensure the reliability and quality of custom business applications.
  • Develop and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.

Requirements / Elvárások

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams, preferably in a custom business software context.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in cloud technologies, React, Java, NodeTS, microservices, and Cloud Foundry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
