Test Manager/UAT (BS-01064)

The UAT Manager is responsible for managing a team of 10 support and 10 developer colleagues. This responsibility includes the analysis and review of the day-to-day operations, budget management, team performance and development, meeting established contract metrics for a minimum time period of 6 months.

Position, objectives:

• Accountably manage the UAT function and direct the efforts of internal UAT team, prioritizing their tasks to meet business expectations and schedules, coordinating, and planning duties, providing the highest value
• Be responsibile for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged team
• Act as the liaison between the client stakeholders and the vendor team in ensuring that the team is progressing in line with the vision and strategy of vendor and client organizations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business
• Minimum 5 year multinational experience
• Minimum 2 year experience working with diverse multinational groups of people to create a team environment focused on high productivity
• Be  familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the testing field
• Understand release management principles and best practices
• Have hands-on experience with system administration tasks
• Demonstrate problem solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills
• Understand technical peer-review approaches and techniques.
• Be able to collaborate constructively with developers to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions
• Be experienced of working to tight deadlines
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Be proactive and possess the ability to work independently
• Be positive and professional, tactful, organized, and a team player
• Be able to deal effectively in high pressure, ambiguous situations
• Be action and results-oriented
