An exciting new opportunity has opened up for Manager / Senior Manager candidate to work with us in our UK Tax Risk Assurance practice.
Your role would be to help lead the development of our capability in the Middle East (and related territories) capitalising on the market opportunity that we have identified.
You would assist the wining and delivery of work which includes enhancing tax organisational design, risk management, and tax process improvement. You would also be consulting on the appropriate model for compliance delivery and generally ensuring that an organisation's tax management is fit for purpose.
You would be working directly with the UK PwC Tax Risk Assurance team, leveraging the experience and offerings within the team in the UK. This means you will be part of the London team but spend significant time working with PwC's in country teams to build out their capabilities and propositions in this area, and support the winning and delivery of local client engagements.
In the role you would benefit from having a strong background in working with large global clients on their approach to tax management across all taxes, as well as relevant international tax technical skills. Experience working overseas as well as on tax technology implementations would also be beneficial.
You may also be required to travel to Middle East, central / eastern Europe, Asia. However, the role would be based in London.
About the role
We are investing in the development of a market leading practice in the UK for Tax Risk Assurance services. This opportunity has arisen as a direct result of our growing centre of excellence for Tax Risk Assurance services in the UK creating the desire to capitalise on UK growth in the overseas market.
You would report in to a Tax Risk Assurance Director that is dedicated full time to leading this
part of the practice.
We would expect you to have a significant level of interaction with relationship partners and the ability to build networks internally as well as externally to promote our brand in this area.
Successful applicants would be expected to contribute to managing high profile client relationships - controlling deliverables and deadlines, handling day to day queries and establishing the role as a point of contact for clients.
Building relationships and personal networks around the Firm to help you with work winning and knowledge sharing will be key and we would expect you to be involved in the support and development of more junior staff - sharing knowledge and expertise through team working and actively managing individual work-streams.

RequirementsEssential skills:

·An ACA or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
