Software QA Engineer

Task:

- Lead and coordinate system test activities with developers and product team

- Support all releases (test scenarios, test plans, testing strategies, test cases)

- Execute tests, evaluate and communicate test results

- React quickly and effectively to on-demand requirement and changes, juggle multiple projects and requests.

- Utilize various automation tools to perform testing for all layers – application’s GUI, WS API and backend which process data. This includes maintaining existing automation code and developing new automation code when new project comes up.

- Continually evaluate our products from a customer perspective to find bugs, create new tests, and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of testing experience with web based applications

- Experience in test engineering: test planning, test case design and test execution;

- Experience  with HP Quality Center or a similar tool for test case creation and documentation

- Expert  understanding of QA processes and methodologies.

- Experience with various defect management tools.

- MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for other documentation related activities

- Strong understanding and experience working with Agile software development team.

- Good knowledge and working experience of SQL management and scripting.

Desirable

- At least 2 years of software development background

- Ability to write test applications using shell scripting.

- Hands on experience on white box-grey box, performance/Load and security testing.

- Experience in developing QA automation framework 

- Knowledge of Quick Test Pro/Load Runner or similar tools for automated testing and load testing

- Experience testing mobile devices a plus.

- To be successful in this role, you should have strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
