IT Transformation Manager - London
The remit of the Transformation Manager is to manage and implement the programme vision and delivery of significant cross Group IT transformation work streams; Ensuring that programme plans are effectively delivered into solutions, milestone outputs and that programme benefits are communicated and realised.
*You will be accountable for a key contribution to the programme success and actively participates collaboration/engagement with key stakeholders across Group IT teams. The role needs to be able to effectively form and communicate programme content with all parties.
*This role will report into a Strategy & Transformation Lead, dependant on Strategy or Transformation work stream.
Accountabilities will include:
*Managing documented programme and transformation plans for the Target Operating Model (Organisation, Suppliers, Process and Tools)
*Defining the specialised content of strategically agreed operating models (Organisation, Process, Tools Globally) through Subject Matter Expert knowledge; understanding their accountability/role in large change plans/teams through effective communication and coordination across work streams
*Maintaining relationships with key IT team stakeholders internally and with Partners and 3rdParty suppliers
*Proactively identifying and providing solutions for any strategic delivery risks and issues
*Managing and delivering to programme milestones -building content, gaining input through facilitation, leading practitioner sessions to skill and develop the Group IT workforce, influencing outcomes to maximise the benefits delivery
*Ensuring timely programme reporting is in place and distributed to key stakeholders/Leads in order to drive and influence informed decision making around programme priorities
*Actively build Practitioner skills across all disciplines of Target Operating Model strategic and transformation change models along with specialised IT knowledge
Key Capabilities/ Knowledge:
*Strong understanding of Global Delivery Models and Partnering for IT delivery
*Expert & capable Practitioner with experience of Design, Development, Testing and Service Delivery
*Stakeholder Management skills at IT 'Head of'and Practioner level
*People and Process capability development experience
*Strong programme management capabilities around planning and control, benefit and value management, and risk/issue management.
*Strong people and influencing skills, with ability to operate and influence in a complex stakeholder environment
*Effective team working across virtual teams
*Ability to work to tight deadlines and in a fast paced environment
If you have relevant experience of delivering a project through a matrix team then you would excel in this role.
This experience could come from someone who has a consulting background or who has delivered this 'client side'
