The PwC Bristol office is currently looking to recruit several newly qualified Audit Senior Associates to complement our already existing team as we enter a growth period.
You will be expected to provide assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large corporate entities. Our clients are often well known brands, covering most industry areas, and many have broad international reach.

Our audits use the latest technology and off shore delivery centres, to reduce the level of manual testing required by our teams in the UK, ensuring our people focus on the most valuable areas of client service.
About the role

This role would incorporate
• An office based or client on-site leadership role involving the co-ordination of audit for clients including planning, day to day control, solving technical meetings, liaising with clients, running meetings and completing more complex areas of audit assignments appropriate for your skills; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients, understanding opportunities to assist clients with their issues, and introducing other specialists from our firm • A chance to be involved in many areas of internal leadership and broader business development. • Reporting directly to a Partner, Senior Manager or Manager, and having teams report to you. • You will be given the opportunity to grow and develop your career within the firm and we allow you to shape out a broad and flexible career, or an opportunity to specialise in a particular area or industry that is suitable to your particular strengths. • Responsible for the coaching and development of others with an opportunity to take personal responsibility for an individual's career development. • A chance to give back to community and social welfare projects, often utilising your business skills. • We fully support internal mobility both nationally and internationally
Our Bristol office supports clients over a geographical region in the West, incorporating locations such as Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon and Exeter. Over and above this, at times, there is a requirement to support the other West and Wales offices in Cardiff, Swansea and Plymouth.

· Amount of time office based: 20%
· Amount of time at client sites: 80%
· Need to travel/overnight stays away from home: Yes - minimal but depends on ad hoc projects

As a Senior Associate within our Bristol office you will be required to:
• ACA/ACCA/CA qualification essential • Have significant auditing and accounting experience • A passion for client service • A keenness to further your own personal development and career goals
Other relevant competencies include financial reporting frameworks such as UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing frameworks such as UK ISA's.
Although limited, some assignments may require travel outside of the immediate West and Wales vicinity and include certain nights staying away from home
