Welding Engineer (Somogy) - TCW-1223

We are looking for a Welding Engineer for our Partner to its green field investment factory near to Dombóvár.

Roles:

• Monitor and develop the welding activities and maintain the welding standards on a high level
• Ensure that all relevant welding standards are followed and that all welding personnel is trained properly
• Ensure the use of appropriate equipment
• Monitor all welding test results
• Analysing and assessing of welding results by reviewing results of NDT and destructive tests
• Maintain regular audits on welding activities inhouse and at suppliers
• Preparation of  welding documents and inspection plans
• Ensure maintaining of a traceability system for all welders involved in main structure frames
• Maintain and improve further the existing assessment and training system for newly hired welders
• Identify training needs for the welders based on the feedback given by the welding trainers and based on inspection results
• Preparation of repair instructions to remove welding defects
• Implement and maintain a visualization system of welding KPIs

Requirements:

• University/College degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years working experiences
• Basic, usable normal CAD knowledge (preferred in Inventor)  
• Team player and highly motivated
• Metallurgical knowledge for components and stress test calculation acc. official laws like PED (Pressure Executive Directives)
• Preferable working place is Kaposvar or Magocs but also possible to find an office in Budapest
• Independent, trustable and highly professional working skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good command of written and verbal English
