Tax - R&D; - Manager / Senior MAnagerReference TX03055Location LondonService TaxSpecialism TaxIndustry LRTWho we are looking forThe firm is looking to build the Innovation Incentives Group ("IIG") and there is an opportunity for a Manager or Senior Manager who has experience of R&D;, patent box and creative sector work to join the London Region Tax team with a primary focus on this area.
The Innovation Incentives Group is a rapidly growing part of our tax practice with opportunities to work on R&D; claims, patent box, grants, creative sector and other innovation incentives.
About the role
The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Advising large companies and SMEs on the opportunities to claim R&D; credits and patent box.
• Overseeing and managing delivery of R&D; credit claims and patent box claims from start to completion.
• Proactively managing a portfolio of R&D; and patent box clients and winning new work.
• Advising clients on patent box, modelling benefits, preparing claims and supporting documentation
• There will be opportunities to get involved in developing the business and identifying new opportunities for R&D; and patent box work.
• Coaching and developing more junior members of the IIG team.
• Keep up to date with changes and developments in R&D;, creative sector and patent box.
The London Region team has a diverse client base and there will be opportunities to work with clients of all sizes and across a variety of industry sectors from the largest R&D; spenders in the UK through to exciting new start-up ventures. This role is a good opportunity to develop client handling skills and gain lots of face to face client exposure.
